What’s the Inspiration Behind Cultivating Your Branch?

This Explains It…  :

John 15:1-17 NKJV “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.”

How awesome that we already belong to Christ! He has already made us clean, and I am reminded of Hosea 6:6 “For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”All Christ asks for is love. LOVE! That is all! God is a God of love! Abide in Christ. Abide in Him. This has become my new challenge. At every moment of every day, am I abiding in Him?

I am creating this site in order to aid in the cultivation of my branch and yours. Am I worthy of such a task? NO! God is the vinedresser. It’s His responsibility!! However, if I can spread good cheer, share a few good laughs, inspiring words of wisdom, great bible studies, delicious recipes, helpful tips from anything to growing a garden, preserving produce, raising chickens, dealing with autism, etc, then maybe I have helped. I am no pro @ this whole “wife” and “mom” thing… but when I think of how much my life has changed I am reminded of a few incredibly fabulous women who helped and continue to help me find my way. I could only hope to someday have the honor of helping someone else. Most of the information I have gathered in my 30 years is not top secret so please feel free to ask questions VIA comments and email.

My hope is that this site will help each of us women aspire to become more like the wife of Proverbs 31. If we look to God for instruction (as He has promised) we will be filled with joy, and our joy will be full (even when the diapers leak, spit up becomes your new perfume, you realize the mud your kids played in wasn’t actually mud, your kids think everything is debatable and that bickering is a new olympic sport). No matter what life throws at us, God has given us tools and wisdom for life; its up to us to use it.
